October expression of interest: UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme

The UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme provides grant funding to industrial research and capital projects to encourage UK civil aerospace. Closes 17 October

Digital Health Technology Catalyst round 3: feasibility studies

UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £1m is open for applications to speed up development of commercial digital health solutions. Closes 31 October

Digital Health Technology Catalyst round 3: collaborative R&D

Up to £8m is open for applications to speed up development of commercial digital health solutions. Closes 31 October

Open Grant Funding competition: round 3

Up to £20m funding available to deliver game changing or disruptive innovations with significant potential for impact on the UK economy. Register by 14 November

Innovation Loans: September 2018 open competition

Innovate UK’s £50m pilot of Innovation Loans to fund later stage R&D with a strong commercial route to market culminates with a £10m open competition for SMEs and micro-businesses. Briefing events are also running throughout October. Register by 14 November

RIA Research and Innovation Action

As immersive technologies are transforming the ways in which people communicate, interact and share information, this will have a direct impact on industries across the European Union. Closes 14 November

Production Innovation for Immersive Content

Up to £8m funding for innovation projects to enable immersive content to be created faster and more efficiently. This competition is part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund’s Audience of the Future Programme. Closes 28 November

UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme: fast track collaborative R&D expression of interest

UK organisations can apply for a share of up to £8m to carry out collaborative R&D, collaborative fast-track and feasibility projects that enhance the UK’s position in civil aerospace. Closes 5 December

UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme: longer term collaborative R&D

This £8m aim of this funding is to support and speed up industry investment focused on supply chain companies. Innovate UK are looking for high risk, high impact projects that demonstrate visionary, revolutionary and disruptive solutions to UK aerospace challenges, that enhance the UK’s position in civil aerospace. Closes 5 December

LOROS 360 Film competition

LOROS are holding a VR for Good 360 film competition with prizes of up to £6,000. Help them to transform the lives of people living with a terminal illness or limited mobility by using VR to create mesmerising 360 experiences. Closes 23 November

European Funding: Horizon 2020 ICT 25 Interactive Technologies

Better exploiting opportunities offered by multi-user interactions, research and developing technologies augmenting human interaction in groups within a professional and private context. Or developing future interactive systems offering higher quality experiences. There are lots of other opportunities, such as research in geolocation, flexible and wearable technologies. Read more
