BODYSWAPS raises £470k led by Ufi Ventures with Haatch Ventures and D Moonshots.
BODYSWAPS, an immersive learning platform for autonomous soft skills training allows large organisations to upskill their workforce for the new world of work, rapidly, cost-effectively and at scale.
BODYSWAPS has been hailed a success story for the UK Immersive ecosystem. The company was first conceived and incubated in Digital Catapult’s Augmentor programme. BODYSWAPS then received investment from enterprise VR hardware leaders HTC through their Vive X programme and an R&D grant through Innovate UK’s Immersive Tech Investor Accelerator programme.
The digitalisation of learning & development has been greatly accelerated in recent months and Ufi’s investment will supercharge the creation of new products to satisfy increasing demand for scalable remote soft skills training solutions from both corporate training and higher education markets.
Chris Mallet, CEO notes: “We’re living a pivotal moment for the L&D industry and with Haatch’s support, we have the opportunity to build the future of what it means to learn, to give everyone a chance to unlock their full potential and make the workplace more humane.”
Ultimately, BODYSWAPS’ aim is to build the world’s most advanced soft skills learning product. By this time next year, it is looking at having 10,000 happy monthly active users and claim its position as Europe’s leading immersive soft skills learning solution.
